I am a married mom of one beautiful daughter who is the pride of my life.  I’ve been married for over twenty years and together, we have lived in 5 different states in the U.S.  I’m hoping that our most recent relocation will be our last, but I must say, I’d love to move closer to family, so there may be one more move for us in the distant future.

Following our last move I opted to not go back to work but become a stay at home mom to my 11 year old daughter. I now do quite a bit of volunteer work at her school and I work a lot on the house we bought when we relocated. It is not old, but was abused by its previous owners, a lot of dings and dents, broken hinges, that sort of thing. It keeps me busy.

As a means of earning an income since I no longer work, my sister Karen suggested I start blogging earn money online. I began blogging in July, 2007 on The Sewing Mom without a clue of what blogging was all about, but I’ve spent the last few months learning. This is my second site and I’m still learning but I am enjoying it. My sister did most of the hard work the first go around, so this is the site I am really learning the basics on. I’m hoping in the end that it will be the one I am most proud of because I will have done the more of the work myself.
