I Love Comments

I just want to continue on my praise of comments and my love of blogging.  I love to blog.  I love to receive comments from readers and I love to have a reciprocal conversation here and on other blogs.

What I don’t like is spam.  SPAM - I don’t like it in a can and I don’t like green eggs with ham.

Let me just tell you, for some reason, this little blog of mine attracts over 300 spam comments per day.  99% of these go directly into my spam filter, Akismet, but even those, I’m tired of.  Why does every spam comment have to deal with drugs (Viagra, tramadol, redlin, etc., ) you name it, I see it.  Oh, my bad.  Not EVERY comment deals with medication, some deal with sex, sex of every kind imaginable and some I certainly don’t ever want to imagine.

Spam - It’s horrible and I wish I could make it stop!
