Travel Dreams

July 2, 2008 on 7:33 am | In travel |

So, I’m less than two weeks away now from our driving trip to Tennessee. I’m starting to get nervous about forgetting things, so I’ve started a list on my white board. I just hope I get everything down on my list!

When we return from that trip, we will have less than a week before we take my husband to a special destination for his birthday. I can’t say where we’re going because he may pop in and read this blog and I don’t want to give away the secret.

We’re not going anywhere outside of the U.S. though, I can say that. My daughter and I don’t yet have our passports. I do have the forms all filled out, but my husband has to go with us because our daughter is just 12 and so both parents are required to be present when her passport application is submitted.

That doesn’t keep me from dreaming about far away, and not so far away lands. I look forward to traveling to destinations around the world. I keep my eye out for special package deals too such as Costa Rica vacation packages or the Bahamas. Either of those places would be right at the top of my list. I love the warm weather and the beaches. That’s my kind of vacation!

Where do you dream of traveling?

  1. Anywhere that’s not here : ) I would love to see the rocky mountains. I would also love to lay on a beach in the bahamas. Maybe when I am rich and famous….

  2. I think the Rockies would be awesome! I’ve seen them, but they’re always worth another look. I need to win the lottery so I can do nothing but travel. Oh, I guess I have to play the lottery in order to win, right?! :-D
