What do you think of these cards? I realize they appear to be holiday cards, but I’m thinking of using the same format as Thank You cards; I can change and personalize the text on the front of the card as well as the inside. What do you think?

My daughter and I both just celebrated our birthdays in March. Since we celebrated and opened our gifts, I’ve been on the lookout for some decent thank you cards to mail out to my friends and family who were all kind enough to remember us on our special days. I can’t seem to find anything I really like in the stores, so I’m considering ordering Custom Photo Cards online. There are many styles to choose from, but I like the off center photo placement in this design.

Besides changing the text on the front, I can also choose the typeset and font color at no additional cost. The cards even come with lined envelopes which I can have imprinted with our return address. I can choose my own photo and have it printed on the front of the cards in color, black & white or sepia. It could be that I just created a fabric bag using the same colors today, but I really like the blue & brown color combination of this card.

My mom and I were just talking the other day about how many people no longer ever acknowledge receipt of a gift. I think if someone goes to the trouble of sending something, whether it’s a physical gift or money or even a gift card, the recipient should let the sender know that they received it. I try to teach my daughter this habit my setting the example. If she sees me sending thank you cards, she will be more likely to do the same.
