Deal or No Deal

We’re sitting here watching Deal or No Deal and it’s an interesting game.  This apparently is “challenge” week where the contestant is given a challenge at the beginning of the game, in addition to playing the game.

The current contestant was told that for every round she made it through, without opening the $1 million case, she would be given a Lexus.  The car was in addition to whatever monetary offer she was given.  WOW!  That’s pretty cool, let the game begin!

Contestant picks her case that she is keeping throughout the game, #12.  She then picks the 1st of 6 cases in the first round.  What dollar amount do you think was in that case?

The first case she chose to open?  $1 million.  No car.

The game is continuing however, her luck seems to have improved after that first case.  We’ll have to see how it turns out in the end.
