The weather is absolutely insane today! We live just northeast of Dallas and it has been a steady downpour of rain since about 8:30 this morning. That’s 4 1/2 hours of steady rain fall! Our back yard is beginning to look like a lake and, because the end of our driveway is part of the drainage for our cul-de-sac, I can’t actually see the end of the drive way anymore, it’s under water.

I really need to go out to the post office to mail our taxes, but I’m waiting, hoping, that the weather will improve. I can assure you that there isn’t an umbrella made that could withstand the high winds we are currently suffering.
