Winter in Dallas

March 4, 2008 on 9:35 am | In My Imagination |

We were surprised last night with a rather decent snowfall. This followed 3 days of temperatures in the 70’s which made it even more surprising. The snow began to fall around 8 P.M. and continued into the middle of the night leaving us with 2-3 inches here on the northwest side of the Dallas area. Another surprise was that the schools didn’t cancel or even delay their start times, much to the dismay of my daughter. Today is her birthday and she was thinking a snow day would be a nice way to celebrate!

This is the snow falling last night over our front yard.

This is our house this morning, the snow had all ready begun melting. It’s supposed to be in the 60’s today!

  4. Thanks John! We’re the second owners, we didn’t build it. I really do like the floor plan though. All of the bedrooms except one are downstairs. Upstairs is our guest bedroom and full bathroom and our t.v./media room. It’s nice to not have to run up and down the stairs all the time. (guess I’m getting older!)
