Broken Window
February 11, 2008 on 5:59 pm | In My Imagination | 2 CommentsWe have two dormer windows in our second story. We never really notice them because they are in our attic, not the main part of our house. This afternoon, I was outside enjoying the beautiful warm day when I noticed the glass in one of the windows was completely cracked from top to bottom and a few sideways cracks as well.
Home ownership. It means always having to have something repaired! This is my current list:
- get glass replaced in dormer window
- have outside of house painted
hire fertilizing service (our yard is a disaster thanks to lack of care by the previous owners)- hire plumber to repair mixer valve in daughter’s bathtub/shower
- replace carpet (yea, that is one is way down the road)
- get new swimming pool sweep, current one is now broken
I don’t want to put anything else on that list right now, it will make me feel overwhelmed.

I’ve never been into remote control cars personally, but I do think they are a lot of fun to watch. They’re not limited to cars either, there are planes, helicopters, and, as we discovered recently, there is even a remote control Chili’s pepper that they use at professional basketball games. The huge Chili Pepper flies around the arena before the game and during half-time, completely operated from the ground by remote control.
This afternoon, I found myself at a blog that covers all types of things regarding remote control cars. Even though I’m not an RC car person, I could tell that the information posted on their blog was full of very useful RC Cars Tips and Tricks whether you’re a beginner or have experience with RC cars. Most of their posts even include a picture to help explain the specific tip they are talking about. The blog includes post on everything from RC car cleaning to how to make a jump from the cardboard box the RC car comes in.
